We have completed another project for the Wodzisław Śląski City Council, aimed at creating functional, aesthetically pleasing and energy-efficient public lighting. This time, the investment covered the municipal cemetery in Wodzisław Śląski – a place of particular significance, where safety is just as important as maintaining a harmonious environment and respecting the character of the space.
A Design Tailored to the Character of the Location
As part of the project, 23 decorative Decorpole lighting columns were installed, each fitted with classic three-arm brackets. Their design was carefully selected to complement the character of the cemetery, enhancing its orderly and peaceful appearance without dominating the surrounding environment.
Autonomous Solar-Powered Technology
The autonomous solar-powered luminaires used in the project operate independently of the electricity grid. Each lighting column has been equipped with:
- motion sensors;
- dusk-to-dawn sensors;
- an intelligent energy management system.
This ensures that the lighting operates only when required, delivering high energy efficiency and low operating costs.
Safety and Visitor Comfort
The completed installation has significantly improved safety and comfort for visitors, particularly after dark. The carefully planned positioning of the lighting columns, combined with intelligent lighting controls, enhances visibility along pedestrian pathways while preserving the calm and respectful atmosphere of the cemetery.
A Step Towards Sustainable Infrastructure
The project in Wodzisław Śląski is an example of a modern approach to urban infrastructure, combining classic design, advanced technology and sustainability. The use of renewable energy and intelligent control systems represents a practical step towards creating cost-effective and environmentally friendly public spaces.
