Our project in Grodzisko Dolne demonstrates how modern composite lighting columns can enhance public lighting infrastructure by combining innovative materials, practical functionality and long-term economic efficiency.
The composite materials used by NCT offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, UV radiation, moisture and extreme temperatures. Thanks to these properties, composite columns significantly outperform traditional steel and concrete structures in terms of durability, ensuring many years of reliable operation even in demanding outdoor environments.
Another major advantage of composite structures is their low weight, which greatly simplifies transportation and installation. In many cases, installation can be carried out without the need for heavy lifting equipment, helping to reduce project costs and shorten construction times.
As part of the investment in Grodzisko Dolne, special yellow composite columns were also installed near pedestrian crossings. Their highly visible colour improves awareness of crossing zones during both daylight hours and after dark. The ability to integrate additional crossing illumination systems further enhances visibility and road safety, which is particularly important in areas with high pedestrian traffic and near residential developments.
A further benefit of composite columns is their exceptionally long service life and minimal maintenance requirements. Unlike conventional structures, they do not require regular painting or complex maintenance procedures. In addition, composite materials have no scrap value, significantly reducing the risk of theft and vandalism.
The investment in Grodzisko Dolne is an example of a modern approach to the design and upgrade of public infrastructure, focused on safety, durability and the reduction of long-term operating costs. Solutions such as these are helping to define the future of contemporary lighting systems in towns, cities and municipalities.
